Can Photograph change the world?
These pictures shown a meaningful message, showing people fighting against police for what they want equal rights for black people. Each images reminds me of George Floyd protest, where they seek justice for Black Lives Matter community as they want racial equality. Jonathan displays how colored people face against police brutality, due to their own skin colors and racial background. When I take a closer look, this explains of what society sees in people with nationality when racism give poor treatment to other civilians. Unlike in magazines, this imagery shown a deeper meaning throughout the environment that we can relate to.
In my perspective, pictures can change the world from events that made it meaningful toward civilians. When photojournalist publish their stories in public, they expect audience to understand the photos for what civilians can relate in real life. Sadly, whenever they send rare information to publish, companies are willing to either removed the photo entirely or censoring to prevent any disturbing images.
Photojournalists states. According to Jonathan Klein video, he stated "Publication of those images, as opposed to the images themselves, caused the government to change its policies." That could mean that image publication was cause the government to change policies due to disturbing imagery. In Nordell, Do photograph change the world, pointed out that "Censorship that limits imagery", meaning that publication tries to censor the photos just so they can hide the truth.
