Image
Photo by: Malcolm Browne Image source:  The 100 most influential historical pictures of all time - Rare Historical Photos Date: 1963 [Rule of third] -  The burning monk is place in the lower center of the picture. If the monk was closely centered, it will be difficult to understand the meaning of the photo. Rule of third helps me to clearly see the situation in this photo.   [Subject's expression] -  I could see how the monk felt calm and relaxed, while feeling pain from burning. I imagine what caused the monk to burn themselves with fire and gasoline. It feels like the monk was accepting their fate rather than getting help from local.   ["Obvious" main subject] -  The monk display as a main subject, showing me the meaningful focus . I deeply see the burning monk as a person who demonstrate  on acceptance of his fate, just so I would relate to this situation. When I see the picture as a civilian, I can tell the picture shows ...

Each images reminds me of George Floyd protest, where they seek justice for Black Lives Matter community as they want racial equality. Jonathan displays how colored people face against police brutality, due to their own skin colors and racial background. When I take a closer look, this explains of what society sees in people with nationality when racism give poor treatment to other civilians. Unlike in magazines, this imagery shown a deeper meaning throughout the environment that we can relate to. In my perspective, pictures can change the world from events that made it meaningful toward civilians. ...
